Help navigate Shybot to each level's exit zone whilst avoiding spikes and other hazards.

SHYBOT is a great 8-bit style adventure game, it's fun, it's not short, and generally well-made. In another words, go play it. Seriously, it's a very good game with big world that even though might not make great lot of sense if placed on a 2D map, it's going in a nice linear pattern with the open-world feel to it, Storyline is okay and the controls are simple, and there is hardly a thing wrong about this game, so it does deserves a 10/10, but due to some minor things I didn't like, storytelling for instance, I'm giving it a

Driving force is a simple and easy game, it's not too long and neither is it an outstanding game, it does however has 2 different quality levels if you have a slower PC so that's a plus, even though most current PC's should be able to run web games, whether old or new. Game is repetitive, all you do is drive forward in different scenarios, doing different things, I appreciate the explosions and damage that depends on how many cars/walls you hit on the way, but the game is still pretty average, so I'm just going to give it

This racing game takes a good approach, but it does not have much play-ability. It's a good 3D game kept in retro style, but the simplicity of it is not enough to gain players attention. sure you do get to explode if you drive out of the map, but sometimes explosions are not enough to make a game good. It does however have very nice music, I think I enjoyed the soundtrack more than the game itself, even though it's nothing too out of the ordinary, but thanks to that soundtrack the game gets a weak

Let me get it out in the beginning. This game is boring. It could be a nice time killer for mobile if it had a high score table, but it only saves your high score and that's it. This game isn't bad, it is playable, and if you don't have much time it's the thing to take it up, but there are much better games out there for time killing than this one. But I must admit, the music brought me over again, so here, purely because of the nice music in a bad game, I am also lifting my decision to

Expand your empire by taking over islands through battle against other nations. Earn gold to build up your naval fleet and home defense.

This game hasn't convinced me of it's greatness, but it's a well made Civilisation -like game. You got ships, you can earn money, build fortresses, and there is a nice strategic battle mode when you invade other countries, as well as peace treaties, which overall makes a good strategic game for those long trips. To me the area for playing was too small for a very fun game, but making it big wouldn't work since it's a web-game, so that's both a plus and a minus right there.
Overall, I didn't enjoy it too much, but I have to admit that the game is good and deserves at least a

Go Robots 2 is a standard puzzle game, simple enough for anyone to understand, yet hard enough for the right to call itself a puzzle game. Goal is simple, guide two robots to the opposite end of the room, or more precisely, to a portal that's at the opposite end of the room. and even though the puzzles are rather straight forward. However I did get stuck on two, and not because of them being difficult but because of the physics of the game failing on me, I managed to make them after several re-tries while using same strategy, so that's a bit of a problem for the game, as well as the annoying sounds constantly playing (mutable, but still).
Either way, it's not a bad game, and I do think it can have it's

This game is a fairly good one, despite gallons of blood gushing everywhere, it's rated 13+ for a reason I guess. Main goal is to get to the other side of the room, using your clones as aid to destroy the 'one-time-use' lasers scattered around the clone research facility. It's hard to pin point an exact story, to it, but there is a Lore somewhere in there for those keen enough to search for it. You basically have to get to the door at the other side of the level, simple enough. my problem is that it's a bit too simple. It's not absurdly easy, but it never makes you think whether you should go through door A or door B, but in the end it's not a puzzle game even though it seems like one, with nice 8-bit style and music. Infinity Inc is a good length game for just calming down after a busy day, so if you had a hard day, have some fun, it's worth it, even though I only give it

NotDoppler game review

This post is to start off this blog, so before going into actual games I'll say a thing or two about what I'll be making here. It'll be short but feel free to skip until you see a picture couple lines below and just find yourself a game to play.
Having that aside, time for explaining. If you're here it is more than likely that you like games, if not, than why are you even here? Now, if you're into gaming, you probably have noticed that playing a variety of games can be very money consuming, especially for teens that don't work yet and live off what their parents give them. Fortunately, online there are multiple sites that allow you to play good games for free! I am not speaking about torrents, but games made by smaller developers are out there, and while their graphics, music and story-line might not be great, they're a good alternative for free gaming, or just for killing time on a break or during some boring meeting/lecture. Unfortunately there are many bad games out there too, and that's where this blog comes in. For now I'll focus on NotDoppler, as it gathers games from various sources and allows to quickly grasp onto a type of a game you like, with a random box below a game to jump in-between games when you get bored of one. For now, enough chit chat, here are this weeks games:

Fight against the darkness that has cursed your spirit. DEfeat enemie in each room and collect items to upgrade weapons and abilities.

Scepter Knight is a simple game, you walk, you guard, you kill. But in that simplicity lies pure fun. There isn't a great story-line, but the gameplay is more than enough to compensate for it. The story goes that you're a brave knight, that is doomed to reincarnate in the starting room every time you die, because of a curse from an evil mage. As much of an amusing storyline it is, the game peeks through cracks in the fourth wall by first explaining you what buttons do what, and than adding knights thought "I wonder what those strange markings mean". Sadly aside of good humor the game does have it's little details that it did bad, instructions being one of them. The whole map is randomly generated and in some rooms there are instructions, in others there are not, and it seems they're either randomized as well or I got a glitch that shouldn't be there as I found the instruction on how to move on floor 3, already 15 minutes into the game. Aside of that only small things like autopath from the mouse control finding the shortest way making you bump into obstacles, or those very same obstacles obscuring your vision, hiding you or enemies behind them. But using mouse for control is very inconvenient, and the big environmental obstacles don't appear until higher floors so by then no one should be surprised with an enemy. Last, but definitely not least, there is a multi-slot save feature, so not only can you save, but if you're up for it, you can test different approaches to the game, spending skill points after leveling up on different things.
Overall it's a great game, it misses a bit to be a 'must play' but it deserves a

In this retro-inspired platformer, shoot zombies in each level whilst avoiding dangers along the way. Collect coins to upgrade your weapons

The description says it all. Dave went seriously mad after the Hell bunny stole (his?) babies it's now your job to get them back. you run, jump and shoot and... that's basically it. The game has an unforgivable shopkeeper, so the more you shoot, the more you pay for ammo, which combined with not so easy difficulty makes for a good reminder that games used to be very hard. The game is great, fun, and almost nothing to accuse, aside of the fact that the game is waaay too short. 5 levels and 2 bosses, that's it. I understand that there is replay-ability if the levels, with the challenge and extra rooms system, but for a constant screen-scrolling game it could use more levels to just jump around and have fun shooting in, despite the big prices for ammo.
In short, game's great but short, that's why to me it's not worth anything more than

The princess has been captured by an evil dragon! Help Wheely rescue the princess by interacting with objects in each level.

Before I start, I'd like to not that web games very rarely get better after 3-5 installments. And Wheely 6 is not an exception. Sure, it's good puzzles that would be nice to do despite being designed for younger audience. What I have a problem with s that Wheely is getting worse and worse with each installment. first it started copying from Snail Bob (which in itself isn't great either, having 8th part out too) second of all, it moved from actually fun puzzles, to one that can be only done 'trial and error' way. Honestly, how the hell am I supposed to know what kind of magic each symbol will cast?! The game in itself isn't bad, graphics are good and even though soundtrack annoys me, the game is a good recommendation for younger players that can't take things like The Submachine.
That's why unless you haven't played Wheely yet, I don't recommend unless you got time to waste for a game with

Escape a computer by clicking and dragin bugs towards each target hole. Collect stars for extra points.

The Computer is the second part ot Jump Out! The box, and while I have not played the first part I assume it was pretty similar to this one, revolving around same idea just with different background. Both games are a part of a mobile series, and it seems that sooner or later part 3 should come out. But what's important is The Computer, and it's a game I thoroughly enjoyed. It has silly crickets as main characters, easy angry birds styled movement that was clearly designed for touch screens, but it still carried over well to PC version. and since it's a simple game I don't even blame it for how short and easy it is. It's enjoyable, and that's what counts, a quick, short game to make a day better, and even though I think it could use more levels, in my opinion it does deserver a

The knights castle have stolen the king's crown. Retrieve them by strategically dropping objects onto the knights to knock them out.

This game... Let me start by pointing out how it's a 'puzzle' game, but if you need a walkthrough to get through any of the 32 levels, than you should really consider not playing puzzle games at all*. This game might not be a copy of any other I've seen, but it's definitely taking inspirations from man, but it's not doing a good job at creating something new, even more, it fails to grab some good things out of games that became a standard by now, like 'R' for resetting a level. Nope, think again, you have to press thee restart button, no shortkey's. Not to hate too much on the game already, it's not really extremely bad, it could use a level edittor so maybe players would show that you can make difficult levels where there is more to a difficulty than guessing where the arrow will go.
Overall it wasn't an awful game, it definitely could've been better, but the anti-climactic ending nails it. I don't know why I'm giving it a

Navigate the moving ball by clicking tiles to raise them and change direction. Collect big balls to gain points and avoid falling off!

This game does wrong what Jump Out did right, choosing the platform. I don't know if Bround is a mobile game or no, but if it isn't than it's a mistake, if it is than it did a mistake trying to come to the land of PC gaming. Bround is a very simplistic game, perfect time killer for when you're on a short bus trip or standing in a line at the market, but it's not something you want while playing browser games on your PC. It's one of the infinite games which only revolve around beating your high score, and it wouldn't be a bad one either, haven't seen anything like Bround before, but it lacks a bit in coding. Mainly the fact that it can be unwinnable. In the game you use a box to navigate a ball to collect other balls and avoid gaping holes in the walls. simple enough. the problem is as you play, more boxes appear, controlled by the PC, randomly switching places at will. The problem is, when there finally gets more of them, they can 'team up' and block the ball you have to collect, or worse, force you to fall out of the play-field and die right before beating that high score.
There is really not much to say aside of it deserving a strong
